Hungry and Angry

Today during lunch break, I went to a restaurant near Meiji University called "Teppanyaki Dorakichi."

I ordered chicken, horse sashimi, and mackerel, but no matter how long I waited, the food never arrived.

When I first ordered, they said, "It might take a little while; is that okay?" Thinking it might take about 20 minutes, I said, "Sure, that's fine."

But after 50 minutes had passed, I was still waiting. It felt like eternity. I was looking at other customer like a child in Africa. I had to go to my third-period class, so my friend ended up eating my meal. I ended up rushing to the class, eating a plain rice. Awesome!!!!!

Later, I was shocked when my friend sent me a photo.
Despite the chicken costing 750 yen, as you can see in the photo below, the portion was ridiculously small. I remembered the play toy I had in my childfoods. Considering chicken is cheaper than beef or pork in Japan, I hadn't expected a huge bowl of chicken, but at least I thought they would give me a mouthful of chicken. Additionally, according to my friend, it didn’t taste very good either.

I guess they must be using exceptionally high-quality chicken that ordinary people just can't appreciate!

Wouldn't you all like to visit this top-notch restaurant?
